CGDI FC-200 V1.3.5.4 update

CGDI FC-200 V1.3.5.4 update: new ECU support, enhanced diagnostic capabilities, and important system optimizations.

 Update Details: 

Expanded ECU Read/Write & Checksum Support

This update significantly broadens compatibility across multiple vehicle brands, allowing technicians to handle more jobs with a single tool:

  • Audi: Now supports MED9.1 MPC563/4
  • Ford:
    • Boot mode: EMS2204, EMS2211
    • Bench mode: EMS2215
  • Chevrolet: Added support for PE01
  • Honda / Acura: New support for 37820-5R3-B51 and 37820-R48-H73

With these additions, users can confidently perform ECU read/write operations and checksum corrections on a wider range of vehicles.

 Added DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) Disable Functions

The update introduces new DTC disable capabilities, helping professionals manage fault codes more effectively:

  • Peugeot / Citroën: MED17.4
  • BMW: MG1CS201

This feature is especially useful for advanced diagnostics and tuning scenarios where specific codes need to be suppressed.

System Optimizations & Improvements

Beyond new features, V1.3.5.4 focuses on improving overall system stability and usability:

  • Optimized U2W model, resolving issues where some systems couldn’t be written
  • Improved checksum algorithm for ME17.6.8, ensuring more accurate processing
  • Added backup data restore function for MSV80, enhancing data safety and recovery

These enhancements translate into smoother operations and reduced risk during critical procedures.

 Temporary Adjustment

  • The AECS FC-34 series has been temporarily removed due to technical issues. It is expected to return in a future update once improvements are completed.

Carprog Chinese clone  actually can do many things, almost as original, if it is reworked well such as read security codes or read flash Here a  Carprog clone , it cannot read security codes or read flash. It does the procedure but the output is all bad. Either no output or repeated characters. many members with Carprog clone can say it will work have to tweak it ,and read the manuals really only for mcu usage. I have retooled and remade many of my own adapters , also changed bridges , caps , oclis crystal etc on mainboard also flashed to 4.74 firm . all the N/a are gone and eprom and mcu reading is great no faults. also fixed ground plane and insulated board from aluminum case with k tape. its working fine now but has a nice coat of dust on it.
